Dr Patrick Tseng

A graduate of the Periodontics program in UQ, Patrick has been a Periodontist in private practice for over 30 years. He also teaches the post graduate students and was a Senior Clinical lecturer at Sydney University . He was a past examiner for the RACDS in the Specialist Stream (Periodontics), an examiner for the Diploma of Oral implants , and for the DCD program in Periodontics at Sydney University. He started placing dental implants in 1994. He was the first Periodontist to present the use of CT graft in implant treatment at the inaugural AOS meeting in Sydney in 1997. He received further surgical implant training at the Branemark Clinic in Sweden in 1998, and at the University of Berne in 2005. He has presented at ANZAP conferences on a number of topics including pre-term birth, GTR in Juvenile Periodontitis patients, implant design, overloading and new technologies.

He has been involved with the Periodontics undergraduate training program at two Universities in Cambodia, as a Lecturer and subsequently as Associate Professor since 2012. He is now the Director of the Diploma of Implantology program at the University of Puthisastra in Cambodia.
